Benchside is currently in beta with a small group of high school athletic programs. The goal is straightforward: bring the most important parts of game day into one place so schools are not forced to manage communication, scoring, operations, and fan engagement across disconnected tools.

The early signal has been encouraging. Programs do not need more software just because it exists. They need fewer gaps, fewer handoffs, and something they can trust all season.

What is working

  • Live scoring gives families and fans a clearer way to follow along in real time.
  • Migration support makes it easier to move over from older, fragmented workflows.
  • Fan engagement tools give people a clearer way to follow along around each event.
  • Administrative work is easier when the day-of pieces live in the same place.

What we are building next

  • Mobile apps for iOS and Android
  • Stronger reporting and analytics
  • Expanded monetization tools for programs
  • Broader ticketing support across more event types

The biggest takeaway so far is that schools respond well to software that feels calm and straightforward. When the system is easier to run, it’s easier for people to stay connected.

If your program is looking for a simpler way to run events and keep fans informed, we’re still onboarding pilot partners.
